Good News for Homeowners as Two Major Lenders Announce a Cut in Mortgage Rates
Santander and TSB have announced they will be reducing their mortgage rates later this week bringing good news for homebuyers and homeowners who are looking to re-mortgage.
Santander will be reducing rates on Thursday (16th April) by up to 0.3% and TSB will be reducing rates on Friday (17th April) by up to 0.4%.
This is welcome news for people looking to buy a home or those needing to re-mortgage following a rise in rates recently attributed to the war in Iran. It remains to be seen whether other lenders announce cuts in the days ahead.
